The General Engineering Counselling Session – TNEA 2016 is comes to End. End of this entire General Counselling Session, Still 1,01,318 Numbers of Seats are Vacant in the Government Quota. Including Management Quota Vacancies at least 1.5 Lakhs to 2 Lakhs Seats may  vacant.
As per the Last day counseling, 7206 Candidates are called for today Counseling. But 38.87% of Candidates (2801 Candidates) are not attended the Counseling and 43 were skipped the counseling without selecting any seats. Balance 4362 Students are got their seats. Hence the Total Vacancy of the Seats are 1,01,318.

TNEA Counselling 2016 – Collegewise Current Vacancy Position Vs Initial Intake

In the Entire General Counseling Session, (From 27.06.2016 to 21.07.2016) 1,29,814 Candidates called for counseling,  and in that 45,005 (34.67%) Candidates were not attending the counseling and 457 were attended and rejected to take any college. Engineering Admission General Academic Counseling Starts Today (27.06.2016) :

The General Academic Counseling is going to starts shortly.

At the time of counseling Starting, there 1,71,048 seats available in Self Financial Colleges.
And 5944 Seats available in Government and Government Aided College Seat, 8306 Seats available in University & University Department Colleges.
So, Totally 1,85,298 Seats (Last Year 1,93,197 Seats) available in Counseling.
Comparing to the number of students applied for counseling (approximately 1,30,000 only), its expected to almost 60000+ Seats will be vacant at the end of the counseling.
